Overview

|
Sparkling, modern designs in front of sparkling oceans sum up this Collins Avenue hotel. Located on Miami Beach, a pretty big leap from the original's location in New York's Meatpacking district, Gansevoort is finding a shining home in the Sunshine State.
18 floors house 334 sizable rooms offer some pretty sweet amenities.
Things like 40-inch high-definition televisions, a living area with huge couches and coffee tables, and a spacious bathroom, the rooms are more condo than hotel room. When you also add in the things the hotel offers, like the David Barton gym, the spa, the Philippe Chow Asian restaurant, and STK, the New York steakhouse, there are so many great reasons to stay at the hotel.
What our Guests say:
"Been there and it's quite fun! Daytime parties and Nightlife at the Rooftop are highly recommended! ♥ Situated between 23-24th st. the Gansevoort is only a few minutes walk from the masses, but feels miles away and offers a peaceful resort feel. ♥ Love the Plunge (Rooftop Bar), relaxed and beautiful. ♥ Fantastic rooftop pool and bar. ♥ The rooms are well decorated, spacious, nice bathrooms. ♥ Hotel is great, nice, big rooms and the club on top of the building is outstanding!
The hotel’s centerpiece, like its New York brother, is the rooftop pool lounge, which boasts a complete view of the Atlantic and the Miami skylines. The atmosphere there is straight out of one of those travel shows, complete with beautiful people mingling with cocktails. The infinity pool facing the beach offers a nice relaxing time for those looking to relieve some stress.
Priced between $219 to $645, the Gansevoort Miami costs a pretty penny. But that penny grants you access to a prime, oceanfront seat and a lively, club-like atmosphere.

Spend. Beyond the trendy boutique shops on the Gansevoort’s property (Inca, Curve, Amira), a short drive north on Collins brings you to Bal Harbour Shops, an enclave of leading designer shops including Bulgari, Dior, Armani, Gucci and Cavalli.
Sweat. The Gansevoort adjoins the 45,000-square-foot David Barton Gym + Spa. Although gym passes are not included in the room rates, it’s worth forking over a few bucks to work out in this cathedral of fitness, with its 30-foot-high glass and metal dome, entrance reflecting pools, and inlaid mosaic floors.
Swing. Most travelers don’t equate compact South Beach with spacious golf courses, but just a few blocks inland from the Gansevoort lies the Miami Beach Golf Club. This 18-hole course opened in 1923, and it was laid out by famed designer Arthur Mills, who was responsible for more than 160 courses in America.
Browse. Withing walking distance of the Gansevoort is the Bass Museum of Art, filled with classical European Renaissance and Baroque collections sprinkled with modern photography, Latin American sculpture and Asian antiquities.
Gansevoort Miami Beach is home to Miami's most energetic Gym and sensual Spa. This beyond-the ordinary venue is dedicated to pumping and pampering your external and internal selves to their utmost best.
Vibrating with color and sound, David Barton's exclusive Miami flagship gym and Spa has not only the largest gym floor in South Beach, with 42,000 square feet of fitness space, including two floors of interactive cardio machines and tons of free weights, but also is the hottest spot to prepare for a night on the town.
With a 30-foot high glass and metal dome, entrance reflecting pools, inlaid mosaic floors and focus on scientifically achieved body changing results, you know this gym and spa is different. In addition to world class personal trainers and cutting edge equipment, you'll find a dedicated yoga studio, ten spa treatment rooms, an aromatherapy steam room and spectacular Ocean Views.
Enjoy a signature Detox massage, a couples massage or other rejuvenating treatments in tandem with a body-shaping workout and then relax with a cocktail on the Spa deck.
