W South Beach

Even though the W business has been around for more than ten years, the Starwood's iconic boutique still has a few trick up its sleeves with the launching of its South Beach hotel. With the evolved design by the brilliant Costas Knodylis, Anna Busta and Paul Hayes, guest will arrive to a more sophisticated lobby, with a poised of tumbled stone and distress woods with stunning carvings which is definitely more than just ultra suede and mirrors.

The hotel is dwelling with the W-theme luxury, like its Bliss Spa, SWEAT Gym with its own rooftop tennis and basketball courts and not to forget the remarkable WET oceanfront resort pool. When night falls, the hotel comes to life with its three lounge; the Solea with the all-day tapas menu which has six amazing bars, the outdoor 'Grove' reminiscent of the Raleigh gardens and the nightclub by the owners of Mansion.

The rooms feature high ceilings for up to 9 foot, and each rooms are only a glass window away from the beautiful view of the ocean or the interesting city. With total of 20 floors, each level is filled with stylish and comfy guest rooms which had been refurbished from what was purple and black from the past. The floors are equipped with natural stone flooring, and the room mirrors the classic color of black and white which features leather furnishings in the living room which is fool of ornaments and even Taschen books. With chrome table tops and mirrored finish dressing tables, the furniture used in the rooms are quite stylish and contemporary.

The Atlantic Ocean breeze bellowing from the opened sliding door would make the 6 foot shell chandeliers spin to the rhythm of the ocean. The balconies of the rooms are all very spacious and fully furnished with relaxing loungers , and for those who wants more sun than on their balcony could head over to the outdoor pool instead. The modernistic and contemporary designs and furnishings is brought even into the abthroom with mirrored finish countertops, weirdly shaped mirrors as well as the Cippolino marble flooring that makes you feel - artistic.

The larger rooms of deluxe poolside bungalow comes with its own kitchen for the ultimate cooking experience for those who prefer to cook rather than spend so much more on dining in South Beach.
