Calle Ocho

This famous centre point, which spans 30 blocks, is the most important commercial road in Little Havana, and represents the emotional heart of Cuban exile. The liveliest stretch sits between 11th and 17th Avenue; this main strip is scattered with monuments such as the eternal flame, honouring the members of the 2506 Brigade who, in 1961, with support from the U.S., died in an attempt to invade Cuba to overthrow the communist regime introduced by Fidel Castro.

The locals meet here every year on April 17th to commemorate this event. The original El Crédito Cigar Factory is close to the intersection between Calle Ocho and 11th Avenue. Opened in Havana in 1907, it was later moved to Miami in 1968.

The pavement is embedded with a number of stars bearing the names of famous Latin Americans, including Julio Iglesias, Andy Garcia and Gloria Estefan, in a tropical version of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Miami Metrozoo

Located to the south of Miami, it is renowned as an enormous artistic zoo housing more than 700 animals, which are separated from visitors by a number of simple ditches.

Covering 116 hectares, the Metrozoo offers everything the family needs for an enjoyable and entertaining day out: animal shows, tram and monorail rides, souvenir shops, food stalls and a playground.

Considered one of the top zoos in the country, it has received numerous awards for its breeding of rare and endangered species. Its main attractions include gorillas, Malayan bears and white Bengal tigers. Strongly suggested.

disney-world

(not human translation from the original italian version)

Any or the reason for which you decide to come to Miami Beach, or for relax, in order to make madnesses and to live the long night, we advise a tour to you also for a single day for Disney World to Bordering, to north of Miami Beach.

If you decide to return the evening, you will have to leave very soon to the mattino because they want various hours to us in order to catch up it and the visit to the park deserves entire day a nearly. You could also verify the availability and costs for a flight round-trip (round-trip) from the Miami International Airport towards Bordering.

For who it travels in car the main artery in the practicability for Bordering is Interstate 4 (4) to which invariably ago reference the city traffic.

The position of this road in the area of Bordering creates some difficulty of guideline to the motorists, as the 4 are considered in national the viario system like via of East-West connection (Atlantic-gulf of Mexico), while in the center of Bordering it runs in direction north-south: generally it must therefore hold account that if it marks them street on this road indicates east, is proceeding in direction north, when they indicate the west, towards south.

Girl bikini in the beach, Miami

The beaches on Miami Beach start at South Pointe Park and continue north to Surfside.

Public parking lots across the street do fill up quickly.

There are 20 lifeguard stations from the southernmost point to 83rd Street.

calle-ocho

Little Havana, an area west of Brickell Avenue with Calle Ocho (SW 8th Street behind the area of Miami Downtown) as its thoroughfare, offers visitors more than a taste of the Isle of Cuba.

With nearly as many Nicaraguans, Hondurans, Guatemalans and Puerto Ricans as Cubans, Little Havana is a familiar melting place for many Hispanics.

Every March, the most important party is Sunday March 15th and is one of Miami’s events we strong suggest, there is the famous “Calle Ocho” a typical Little Hawana Festival, where up to one million people converge on the streets for what’s billed as the biggest block party in the world!
