Even though summer is off season in Miami, the city still sizzles with the hottest nightlife! Any given night there is something to do, somewhere to go and be surrounded with beautiful people.
You will be here for a week…so you will have plenty of time to enjoy!
Here is a list of my favorite parties and places on the beach:
Tuesday Night:
The Delano Hotel has a great scene. Around 10 pm there is live music performed at the Florida Room (downstairs of the Delano) by The Big Bounce-Brendan O’hara and Kamikaze- who play a fusion of funk, rock, blues! Super original and fabulous. Once the band is done playing they have open format music with hip hop and house.
Mokai this little club has a great scene. It is a great place to end the night and dance, dance, dance!
Wednesday Night:
Vita They have a weekly party called “My boyfriend is out of Town” that is awesome. Vita is a beautiful restaurant with outside sitting (don’t worry- its covered if it rains). You can go have dinner there (highly recommend it- the food is superb) or go for cocktails at the bar. The night starts off with some live singing (think Frank Sinatra) and then the dj takes over with some House.
Rokbar Wednesday night at Rokbar is an institution….a must go! One of the must fun parties of the week. They play hip hop, house and rock….and a great place to end the night.
Feelgoods ReTox Party- if you are more into the underground music, this is a great party. DJs Inbal Lankri and Baby Sean spin super yummy deep house. A bit more of an alternative- underground crowd.
Fierce Angel Club (the old HedKandi)- this club is making waves for bringing really good deep house music to the scene during the week. Good crowd, great music.
Thursdays
Bancroft Supper Club a great place to start off the evening! They have really good organic food, awesome music and a great scene. You can feast on some good eating and dance the calories off with some good house music.
Mynt step into Mynt and it already feels like a weekend! Some of the best music and most gorgeous people in SoBe. You definitely will need a table or a connection to get in.
Louis at the Gansevoort Hotel super fun party.
Mokai This is one of the most fun parties of the week! DJ Louis Dee spins some sexy house and filled with
great people.
Set another SoBe must hit…beautiful people, beautiful place, awesome music.
Friday and Saturday
Any of the above, but my favorite is Mynt. If you are looking for some really good music, head off the beach and to The Electric Pickle in Midtown….best music!!
Sunday: you thought rest……ohhhh no!! Set blows up on Sundays with Sundance. This is one of my favorite parties of the week. A really good balance of locals and visitors…..best vibes, best music and a great way to close the week.
Advice: forget Nikki Beach!
they even give out free tickets to everybody now … this place
can be avoided without even thinking about it!
It’s a shame that Nikki lets its crown jewel decay like that. When they have such great locations.
