What our Guests say:

1) Nice place, with good service. I always prefer outdoor seating, this place has a nice patio. Unfortunately the food quality takes a backseat to the intricate dish decor.

2) Nice place but I digested 2 days after. Too expensive for all that butter..

3) More of a great experience than great food. Definitely something to see. As for the complaints of price, you get what you pay for.

4) Fancy presentation, friendly service, nice night.

5) All the courses are for 3 people !!! I had a lobster tail of 2,7 kg (really a lobster caled ALIEN III) !
Overpriced but we had a great service.

6) Worst Ever. Very Las Vegas. Just Awful. Swordfish Served On A Sword!! Popcorn Shrimp On Real Popcorn. Funny For A Minute, And Very Nice Garden But Loud 80s Soundtrack. Never Again.

7) Great presentation, food has improved exponentially over the years.
Raymond is the go-to guy! tell him i sent you!

8) Tasty food, great presentation… try the BG Sea Monster! Great presentation, awful food.

Each suite is individual and has inlaid furniture, wall mosaics and Italian marble baths. This 5-Star Hotel in South Beach furnished with unique furniture especially made by the designer. There is a Cigar room, a terrace on the ocean and a caviar lounge – a fairytale hotel.

Recently has changed ownership to the famous Restaurant in Miami Beach: Barton G. Its a very exclusive location in the middle of Ocean Drive and its a expensive restaurant.

casa-tua-miami-a-birthday-day

What our Guests say:

1) Casa Tua through Micky had impossed in its short life a different style for enjoy foods. Fantastic atention and gordeous decoration, is my favorite place in one of my favorites cities.

2) CASA MIA!

3) Fantastic restaurant and also the best small hotel of Miami.

4) Atmosphere, service and location is indeed nice, the wine selection is way overpriced, and while the food is fine it is not a place to go unless you are on expense account, prepare to pay 150 a person !!

5) It has the best and the worst of everything to offer….daylight robbery and snobbery in awesome locale.

6) The BEST chocolate souffle ever! Hot with creme fraiche!!! yummy! Becky Chesneau.

7) A staple for classic chic, romance and charm with quality food.

8) Experience over expectations!! oustanding level of service and customer care. rooms are lovely.

9) Excellent Food, very romantic, love the garden and private club is the best place for dinner and after dinner drinks. Very good service ! One of my favorite places in Miami.

10) Best service in Miami. Ok food nice atmosphere.

osteria-teatro-miami-beach

Comments and advices from our Guests:

We would recommend the Osteria del Teatro (for great Italian food), Prime 112 (for the best steaks in town), Barton G (if you like it fancy and funky) and Maison d’Azur (lounge/bar/restaurant – very stylish). You will love it.

Restaurant in Bal Harbour called Carpaccio.

Do not miss dinner at “Casa Tua“, preferrably at the garden although it’s quite dark, inside is nice too though and the food is fantastic, great service and ambience… (and try to get into the bar upstairs which is supposed to be members only – good for celebrity spotting too hehe)

Johnny Rockets at Ocean Drive is a good place for the real American hamburger. Tiramesu on Lincoln Road is a nice restaurant as well. Both restaurants are in South Beach!

Hakkassan was great.. Prime 112 is really good food.. Carpaccio is italian but its great for lunch..
As far as staying in Miami, I did both Delano and Setai..
I love the Setai since the rooms are a lot more spacious, and warm.. Even though I love the Delano’s common areas I find the room slightly clinical, i just got back last week.. miami for me is always great.

nobu-miami-beach-tempura

What our Guests say:

1) The best Japanese food in the WORLD!!!

2) The interior is very disappointing, but the food is just great!!!!
Jed, who works there, was very nice :-)

3) ROCK SHRIMP!!! I was in the bahamas this weekend and has them in the atlantis nobu…i love them!

4) Great sake menu

5) GREAT PLACE!

6) Better fish in Sushi Samba by far!

7) Very expensive ($2700 for 7 people) for what it only was. Other Nobu locations are defenitely better and the service is less snobby than in Miami. food ok though

8) Worse nobu ever

9) Fantastic, as Nobu restaurants always are…

prime-one-twelve-miami

What our Guests say:

1) The steak is great but the sides are very salty. You will usually see a long wait outside…If too long, just go across the street to Prime Italian (same owner, and excellent steak as well)

2) The sides and desserts are by far the best of any steakhouse I’ve ever been to. BUT the steak offers alot to be desired. For the best steak head right down the road to RED.

3) The food is good, the service is really bad. the place really crowded, they should take few tables away.

4) One of my favorite BUT they must change the ladies on the reservations they are complitely unprofessionals,to wait 30minutes is not a style anymore.

5) Good service most times, although the hostesses are somewhat clueless as how to do their job. The steaks are ok, but not the best in Miami. Tuna tartare among the best in Miami. Cool place mostly for the experience not so much the food

6) Absolute MUST – one of the best in Miami !

7) This is the most phenomenal spot in Miami. Food is spectacular and the service is flawless.

quattro-restaurant-south-beach

What our Guests say:

1) Beautiful wall at the bottom of the restaurant full of bottles of wine. simple but tasty traditional italian dishes. Best italian restaurant of South beach!

2) Perfecto Caprese salad!

3) Okay food, but just okay. Overpriced, and sub-par service…

4) Good food but small portions

5) There are very false……so and so food and they put more money than they deserve in the bill!!

6) BEST ITALIAN IN TOWN

7) Excellent food, very good choice of italien wines and very friendly staff… and for those who love to watch the people on Lincoln Road: Just perfect!

karu

What our Guests say:

1) Karu + Y will seriously blow your mind; is iconic by global standards! It’s a breath-taking 42k SF enclave of organic-modern sleek and sexy architecture. Just had dinner there this Saturday.

2) Global Movers, Shakers, Foodies, Winos, Artsies, et al, will be inspired to genuflect. Even the self-proclaimed “world-weary”.

3) At “Karu” (the restaurant) the Foie gras, baby conch and wagyu filet was plate-licking good. Stone crab claws (appetizer) were on the small size though. And for you oenophiles, ask Dwaye the sommelier to surprise you; was a yummy choice for me. “Y” is one of 3 uber-chic indoor/outdoor, DJ’d ultra lounges. Karu + Y delivers haute contemporary cuisine, exotic unique cocktails, and booty shakin’ music with impeccable and surprisingly friendly service.

4) It was so good, I’m throwing a dinner soiree this Sunday at 8 to introduce this latest Miami gem to my gaggle of discerning out of town friends in for Art Basel… Enjoy!

Not for the budget conscious.

Restaurants and Lounge Bar Guide

Monday, January 5th, 2009

Something that is always present in South Beach are food and music.

The main streets are Ocean Drive, Collins Avenue, Lincoln Road and Espanola Way. In Ocean Drive one will usually eat fish, in restaurants fronting the street. However, the trendiest and fanciest restaurants are found in Collins Avenue.

They don’t have an outside view, so their strong points are more in the design, preciousness and dish style departments.

Espanola Way and Lincoln Road are the most romantic streets.

You can find famous Italian Restaurants in these streets. Off-limits for cars and full of people, you’ll dine by candle light, breath inside a magic, light atmosphere, made up of a thousand colours and lights.

There is music, table chatter, which means a lot of ways of socializing. Everybody feels like they’re on holiday in SoBe and they are much more inclined to smiling and chatting.

Meeting people is quite easy.
